Grand Lake Chamber members elect new board
The Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce Sept. 29 election resulted in five new members to the chamber board.
One candidate on the ballot, Tom Ludwig, withdrew from the race after being appointed as a trustee during the Grand Lake Town Board meeting on Monday, Sept. 27. The reason Ludwig surrendered his 25 votes is he will be one of two town trustees also serving on the chamber board as voting members.
New chamber board members and the number of votes they received are: Steve Armstead, 35; Audrey McWhorter, 28; Bob King, 26; Valerie Conelly, 22; and Marian Laster, 20. Darin Foran, who was not elected, received 13 votes.
A total of 48 ballots were cast.
