Grand Lake Rotary grants more than $60K this year

Rotary Club of Grand Lake distributed more than $60,000 in grants and scholarships in 2024, according to a press release from the club.
Among the grant recipients are Grand County Search and Rescue, Taking Steps for Cancer, Mountain Family Center, Grand County Libraries and the Grand Lake Fire Protection District, according to the release.
The club also funds scholarships for local high school students who demonstrate interest in causes that align with Rotary International, such as promoting peace, fighting disease, providing clean water and more.
The club raises the funds through summertime events in Grand Lake, including the July 4th Pancake Breakfast and weekly Bingo nights in Town Park, according to the release.
