Grand Mountain Bank announces three Assistant Vice Presidents

Grand Mountain Bank President and Chief Executive Officer, Frank DeLay, announced today the internal promotions of three employees to Assistant Vice President ” Cheryl Florquist, Michael Hernandez, and Jake Svard.
Cheryl Florquist has been with Grand Mountain since May 2007, and has worked as an internal auditor in both the banking and title insurance industries since leaving the Grand County Sheriff’s department in 1984. With nearly 25 years of local financial services experience, Cheryl has daily responsibilities for internal audits, accounting and compliance.
Michael Hernandez began his banking career in California and has worked in the financial services industry for more than 20 years, including one year with Community First Bank in Grand County prior to becoming a Customer Service Representative for Grand Mountain in 2005. Fluent in Spanish, he has been a great asset in serving many of our non-English speaking customers. In his new role,
Hernandez will lead the Grand Mountain Bank loan documentation staff.
Jake Svard has been with Grand Mountain Bank since October of 2005 working as a Customer Service Representative and more recently as an Assistant Loan Officer for the bank’s Grand Lake location. A 2003 Financial Economics graduate of Gustavus Adolphus College, Svard will continue to assume more lending responsibilities at the Grand Lake office.
