Greatful for generous artists

Last winter the Grand Lake Chamber of Commerce wrote a grant to pay for a summer concert series in Grand Lake. The Grand Arts Council then arranged for 10 performers to present the series. As we approached the first concert, the grantor decided that since we were using mostly local performers, that the grant would not be funded, which threatened to cancel the series.

Thanks to the generosity of several artists, the series did go on. Peggy Mann, Brad Pregeant, and Jubilant Bridge (Willie Jaeger and Carol Van Alstine) and their friends each contributed a concert. They expressed their love of the Grand Lake Community, and gave of themselves for the community.

We are indeed fortunate to have such talented local performers. And we are grateful for their donations to us all.
