Gubernatorial candidate makes stop in Granby as part of Colorado tour

GRANBY — Colorado State Sen. Greg Brophy is taking his campaign for Governor to all 64 counties of Colorado. At 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 4, Brophy will be in Granby at Maverick’s Grille.

Greg Brophy is a husband, father and farmer from the town of Wray, in Northeast Colorado. In 2002, he was elected to serve as a State Representative. Sen. Brophy has served in both the State House and State Senate, and his campaign centers on individual liberties, and standing against the overreach of government.

“I am looking forward to continuing my visits to the entire state of Colorado,” Brophy said in a statement released on Oct. 4, “As I travel, I find that people are tired of a governor that doesn’t listen, and whose plan for Colorado is ‘TBD.’ I am an experienced leader that doesn’t need ‘on-the-job training’.”
