Historical Association thankful for contributions

The Grand County Historical Association would like to thank the following for their support and donations for the successful trek of the former stagecoach stops of east Grand County. Rocky Mountain Roastery, Ian’s Bakery, and City Market for providing food and drinks. Jeff and Nona Crane of Coulter House Gifts in Granby, for allowing us access and providing information on their property, the historic Coulter House. George Edwards and the Legacy Park HOA for access to the ruins at the Selak site. Roger Hedlund and Home James for providing a modern day stagecoach in the form of a passenger van and our driver, Jim.

Also, a special thanks goes out to the Grand County Characters and their members for the enormous contribution they gave in their performances of historic individuals at the stops. Their presence and knowledge greatly enhanced the experience at every stage stop.

I encourage everybody to support our local businesses and organizations, as their generosity supports our community. Also, come and visit our wonderful museums in Fraser, Hot Sulphur Springs, and Kremmling. These are cultural institutions that bond the residents of the Grand County community. Remember, we are nothing without our history.
