Home-Baked Pie Sale to benefit Hot Sulphur Springs Library

Why worry about Thanksgiving dessert! Help yourself and the library by getting your pie(s) from this annual fundraiser. Pumpkin? Apple? Berry? Pecan? Mixed Fruit? Coconut Cream? Dozens and dozens of home-baked pies in these and other mouth-watering flavors will be available for sale at the Grand County Administration Building from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov 24. Cost is $12. Last year around 100 pies were snatched up before 11 a.m. Come buy a home-baked pie for your holiday feast.

This is the 13th annual Thanksgiving Holiday Pie Sale, a fundraiser that benefits both the Hot Sulphur Springs Library and the Grand County Library District. Organized by volunteers, the pies are baked by community members. Local bakers with a favorite recipe are invited to participate. Pie boxes will be available at the HSS library. Baked pies may be dropped off at the HSS library from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23 or at the County Building from 8-9 a.m. on Tuesday morning, Nov. 24, the day of the sale.

For more information about the sale, or if you are interested in donating a home-baked pie, call Christine Lee at 708-990-5967.
