Hot Sulphur Springs needs to communicate better with citizens

To the Editor:

The town of Hot Sulphur Springs is in a water crisis.

The “on the spot” working guys are doing their level best to get an antiquated system into gear.

Periods of water outages are understood, and we accept that when we are forewarned.

We are a town of many babies, a jail and others who need water and forewarning of a deficit so that we can stock up.

On Thursday, Aug. 7, fliers were printed but not distributed to announce a water shut off. This is inexcusable.

On Friday, Aug. 8, similar outages occurred.

We need a liaison between public works and the people of Hot Sulphur.
