Hot Sulphur Springs plans June 7 parade

The Hot Sulphur Days Parade this year gives community members the opportunity to showcase their business or organization. Awards will be given for the best entry in the following categories: Entry with a costume; motorized; non-motorized; entry by an organization; and entry by a youth organization. A $50 cash prize will go to the Best of Show of all the parade entries. The parade immediately follows the historical reenactment of the “Texas Charlie Shootout” at noon on Saturday, June 7. Lineup is at Pioneer Park (across the river) at 11:30 a.m. To enter, download a registration form at http://www.hotsulphurdays.com under Saturday’s events or stop by the Hot Sulphur Springs Town Hall to pick up a registration form. You can deliver the completed form to Town Hall, 513 Aspen St., Hot Sulphur Springs, CO, 80451 or fax it to 970-725-3443. The deadline for submitting your registration is Wednesday, June 4.
