Editor’s Note: Look for election results the evening of Tuesday, June 24, at skyhidailynews.com.

This year’s election is a mail ballot election. Every active registered Republican, Democratic, and American Constitution Party voter was mailed a ballot on June 2, 2014.

Unaffiliated voters can still vote but must appear at the Election Office at the County Administration Building on Monday June 23 (8:30 a.m.- 5 p.m.) or Tuesday June 24 (7 a.m.- 7 p.m.)

Ballots must be received in the Grand County Clerk and Recorder’s office or one of the drop-off locations by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 24. The drop-off locations are Grand Lake Town Hall, CSU Extension Hall on the Grand County Fairgrounds in Kremmling, Fraser Town Hall, Granby Town Hall, Church of Eternal Hills in Tabernash. Drop-off locations are open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

A voter can see if his or her ballot has been received by going to this link and click on “Verify/Update Record.”

Anyone who did not receive a ballot or needs to replace a ballot can get a replacement ballot or vote at the Election Office at the County Administration Building on Monday, June 23, 2014 from 8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. or on Tuesday, June 24, 2014 from 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. To vote in person (at the County Admin Building) a voter will need to provide identification.

In 2013, Grand County received one-third of the ballots on Election Day. The Secretary of State’s Office projects that number across the state to be between 30 percent and 50 percent.
