July 19, 2010
PUEBLO, Colo. (AP) – The Pueblo County coroner says human bones that a rancher found in an open field in southern Pueblo County may have been there more than a year.
Undersheriff JR Hall says investigators haven’t found any evidence so far of foul play. Clothing and a wallet also were found at the scene. Investigators were trying to confirm the identity of the body.
County Coroner James Kramer says the bones are bleached white from environmental exposure.
