Ice golf tourny benefits youth hockey

KREMMLING – Rocky Mountain Bar & Grill and the Kremmling Chamber of Commerce, together with Bear Mountain Bison and Wolford Campground, are hosting the second annual Ice Hole Open Saturday, March 3, on Wolford Reservoir.The 18-hole scramble format tournament is a benefit for the Kremmling Cattle Kings Youth Hockey League, which is associated with the Rocky Mountain Youth Hockey League. Registration will open at 9:30 a.m. the day of the event, with a shotgun start at 10 a.m. Unlike traditional golf, participants may only use one club and must bring their own tennis ball. Prizes will be awarded at special event holes for the longest drive, longest putt and closest to the pin. Tournament prizes will be awarded at the Rocky Mountain Bar & Grill at 4 p.m.Registration is $25 for individuals; teams of four are encouraged.
