Indulge yourself at the Winter Park Chocolate Festival
Now there’s one more reason to head into the mountains on the first Saturday of summer. The Winter Park Chocolate Festival debuts on Saturday, June 26, at the Village at Winter Park Resort.
The outdoor festival will feature more than 20 exhibitors, sampling and selling some of the region’s finest chocolates, toffees, candies and more. Also on the docket: live music from Wonderlic on the Village’s gazebo stage, a truffle-making demo, a pudding eating contest for the kids, and wine-tasting for the adults.
Special guests include Denise Nickerson, best known as the girl who turned into a blueberry in the original Willy Wonka film; Chocolate Therapist Julie Pech, and one of Colorado’s leading chefs, Trusan of Trusan Cuisine. .
Admission is free, and $10 taste tickets allow guests to sample the multitude of available chocolates.
