Inell Harvey will be sorely missed
To the Editor:
Inell was a regular at the Silver Spruce Nutrition Site in Kremmling.
Every meal she attended she led us in the blessing and pledge to the flag. Inell planned parties for every holiday. She would bring in additional decorations (she had decorative nut crackers for every occasion), bring in treats, crochet shamrock pins ,and acquire gifts and certificates from our local businesses for door prizes.
She would prepare throughout the year so every person would take home a gift for Christmas. Inell even had a flair for drawing numbers for the door prizes. Halloween was her favorite. She loved to dress up. She would entice the rest of to dress up with the promise of a gift.
Inell was the BINGO Queen, she loved to play and was frequently encouraging others to join her. She would substitute call to make sure the game would be played, donate prizes to the “BLACK OUT BOX.” I think she had a stash of “special” cards, each had to have her lucky “OOOHHHH SIXTY SIX.” She has us all whooping out her number.
A life of service, a smile, a hug, a compliment was her way of life.
It’s comforting to know she is whole again in heaven, waiting for the next big adventure. I don’t know when she will receive the jewels for her crown, but we do know Inell will be fully accessorized.
She will be severely missed, my hero, Inell Harvey.
