For five years, the dynamic music series Java Mic Night has been held at the Rocky Mountain Roastery. During Friday nights in the winter months, locals have known where to find great, affordable live music.Now they’ll still know, though this year the Java Mic Night series will be changing venues.Mountain Grind Coffee & Bistro (on the lower level of Cooper Creek Square) will host the 13-week music series in 2010. Both local artists and musicians from around the country will be featured.The shows are from 7-9 p.m. and will usually have a $5 cover charge.Cooper Creek Square will allow music lovers to grab dinner before the show and a glass of wine afterwards.This year’s lineup includes:• Jan. 1: Kort McCumber• Jan. 8: Tom Camillo & Jake Royall • Jan. 15th: Jelly Roll Bakers! A special three-hour show 7-10 p.m. with The Kay & Andy Irvine Duo & Michaela Rae • Jan. 22: Danny Schafer • Jan. 29: Retta Yarbrough• Feb. 5: Ali Grayson CD release w/ the Never Summer Quartet • Feb. 12: Christopher Williams • Feb. 19: Zach Smith• Feb. 26: Brad Pregeant w/ Zach Thorpe• March 5: Bobby Walker • March 12: TBA • March 19: Diane French• March 26: Mike Haas
