Junior Achievement volunteers needed in Granby Elementary

Granby Elementary needs volunteers to present Junior Achievement (JA) programs this spring.

JA programs are led by community volunteers who help young people make the connection between what they are learning in school and life after graduation. JA’s hands-on activities are designed to make the concepts of financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship relevant and meaningful to students. By bringing the real world into the classroom, JA volunteer role models open students’ minds to their potential and give them the confidence to dream big.

Below are immediate needs for JA volunteers in local schools. The five sessions would take place April-May. Each grade level program has five sessions, which are about 40 minutes in length each.

All session plans and student activity materials are provided to the volunteer along with training and support from Junior Achievement.

Contact Sally Messinger at smessinger@jacolorado.org or call (303) 260-6280 to learn how you can get involved as a JA volunteer.
