Just who is Barack Obama, anyway?

I agree with Gov. Palin's question, "Who is this Obama"?

To the Editor:

I agree with Gov. Palin’s question, “Who is this Obama”? I think she has the right to ask this question as we know nothing about Sen. Barack Obama.

We know that she has administrative experience on several levels, and all we know about Sen. Obama is that he has a law degree and worked as a community organizer, whatever that is. However, she is not running for president.

As a citizen and voter I know nothing about Sen. Obama, but I am hearing accusations about his Muslim faith preference, finances, questionable relationships with parties who do not have the best interest of our country as a priority. I am bothered that Sen. Obama refuses to release information regarding financial, educational, birth and medical records.

For the moment I’m not willing to vote for someone that refuses to submit background information and is asking me to vote for him based on promises with no explanation of his ability , character, or sincerity.

I really don’t have a dog in this fight as I have lost respect for both parties and consider Mr. Bush and his administration the most inept in my generation.

I suggest that those who are supporting Sen. Obama would be best served to encourage his campaign to provide background information to give the undecided an opportunity to make a fair comparison.
