Kathy Mikol – More about progressive dinner

A recent column in the Sky-Hi Daily News about the 21st annual Progressive Dinner for the Fraser Valley Library accidentally left out some important information.

First and foremost, we would like to mention that the Grand County Blues Society is sponsoring the live music that is playing at Smokin’ Moes on the evening of the dinner. The band playing that night is called The Backdrafts, a group of firefighters who will play all your favorites. The Blues Society has sponsored music every year for the event, and we apologize that this was not mentioned in the column.

We would also like to point out that the Bus Route for the progressive dinner will start behind Winter Park Town Hall in downtown Winter Park. The two walking routes will start at the first restaurant mentioned on the route.

Tickets for the Progressive Dinner are available for purchase through Monday, Nov. 30, at the Fraser Valley Library. The green bus route is sold out, but there is space left on both the gold and purple walking routes. The actual dinner takes place Wednesday, Dec. 2, from 5-9 p.m. If you have any questions, contact the Fraser Valley Library at (970) 726-5689. Tickets go fast, and they are only available at the Fraser Valley Library.

Thanks, and we hope to see you there.
