Kentucky man dies in Winter Park hotel

A 74-year-old man was found dead in a room at the Trailhead Lodges in Winter Park on Tuesday morning, Feb. 16.

Jimmy Woosley of Bowling Green, Ky., died after going into cardiac arrest, according to the Grand County Coroner’s Office.

Winter Park-Fraser Police responded to a call of a possibly deceased adult male around 8:05 a.m., said Police Chief Glen Trainor.

Upon entering the room, police found Woosley to be deceased. There were no signs of foul play.

Woosley’s wife, who was sleeping in the same room in a different bed, found him that morning.
