Kokanee starting to show up at Wolford

This lake Granby area fishing report is brought to you by “Fishing with Bernie.” The Kokanee in Grand Lake are hitting by the Adams Tunnel area, they are also starting to show up at Wolford by the dam and will hit jigs tipped with wax worms suspended under a bobber. They will also hit pink flies drifted by them in current areas. Please remember Shadow Mountain spillway is closed to fishing all the way down to Twin Creek until the first of the year. The lake trout will be leaving their spawning areas and will readily hit spoons cast from the shore. They will be in small schools so keep moving till you find them. The rainbows are biting along the banks of most our lakes in the area. Pike at Williams Fork have slowed down but can still be enticed with slow-moving spoons on sunny flats.
