Kremmling Chamber seeks fireworks fundraisers

The Kremmling Area Chamber of Commerce is looking for people interested and willing to work on a fundraising committee to keep the 4th of July “Fire up the Cliffs” tradition alive.

In the past the Kremmling Volunteer Fire Department put on the fireworks show. They obtained donations, ordered the fireworks, set them up and shot them off. Now, because of the many hours it takes, they can no longer make the commitment.

The Town of Kremmling has budgeted funds toward the purchase of fireworks and secured an individual to set up and shoot off the show for 2011. It will be the responsibility of the new committee to raise another $10,000 by March to ensure the continuation of “the best fireworks show in the mountains.”

Anyone interested in being a part of this committee should call Marty at the Kremmling Area Chamber of Commerce at 724-3472 or email her at Committee meetings need to start soon.
