Kremmling community invited to celebration of New Ministry at Trinity Episcopal Church

The community is invited to a Celebration of New Ministry 7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 25, at Kremmling’s Trinity Episcopal Church, 805 Central Avenue.

The Reverend Michael A. Mortvedt has accepted the call to be the Vicar at Trinity and the beginning of this new ministry will be recognized and celebrated in a service officiated by the Canon Missioner, the Reverend Christy Shain-Hendricks.

Pastor Mortvedt is a Lutheran Minister licensed by the Bishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Colorado to serve as Vicar at Trinity. He graduated from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary with Honors and has served parishes in California and Colorado. Mortvedt is a spiritual director and received his training at the Center for Spirituality at Work.

Pastor Mortvedt is also the National Co-Director of Alternatives for Simple Living; a faith-based educational organization that promotes simple, sustainable living, with his wife Sandy Olson. They publish Whose Birthday is It Anyway? an ecumenical magazine promoting simple, more meaningful, and less materialistic Christmas celebrations.
