Bailey Palmer spent most of her summer preparing her pigs and steer for the 92nd annual Middle Park Fair and Rodeo. It showed.Palmer, 13, was the champion in every category she participated in Thursday. The Kremmling resident was the 4-H Junior Livestock Market Steer Grand Champion and Beef Intermediate Showmanship Champion; as well as the Market Swine Grand Champion and Intermediate Showmanship Champion. Im really happy with how things turned out, said the daughter of Wes and Lisa of Kremmling, with a sparkle in her eye. (Bart) was just a good steer.Showing him was a little hard because hes really spooky, she said, adding that if someone gets too close hell jump. That only happened once today, so that was nice. She wont know how much money shes made until the livestock sale on Saturday, when people bid on the animals.(Baileys) a really knowledgeable showman, said steer judge Cory Gilbert, of Burlington. She does a great job with her animals.Meghan Allen, 14, was the Beef Senior Showmanship Champion. The Granby residents 1,303-pound steer also won first place in the heavyweight class, and took fourth place overall.I mostly worked with him (T. J.) in this last month so he would get really ready for fair, said the daughter of Kathy Allen and Pat Baker. I did pretty good.Meghan Cameron, 10, won the Beef Junior Showmanship. Her 1,137-pound steer, Jerkey, also placed second in the second class livestock show. The daughter of Kim and Bill Cameron of Kremmling said she did pretty good for me yesterday.Gilbert said the showmanship competition is the hardest competition to evaluate. You just look for the exhibitor who does the best job at both exhibiting their animal and paying attention to the judge, Gilbert said. A lot of it goes into knowledge of their project and also the beef industry. The kids did a great job. They looked they like were having fun out here. They all worked really hard. I was really impressed with both the kids and animals.2008 Middle Park Fair Results4-H Junior Livestock shows Grand Champion Market Steer- Bailey Palmer Reserve Grand Champion Market Steer McCall Linke Grand Champion Market Goat Samantha Halley Reserve Grand Champion Market Goat Taylor Strandberg Grand Champion Market Lamb- Taylor Strandberg Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb- Genni Noonen Grand Champion Market Swine- Bailey Palmer Reserve Champion Market Swine- Samantha Halley Grand Champion Market Poultry & Grand Champion Market Rabbit- TBD on Friday Showmanship champions Beef Senior- Meghan Allen; 2nd place McCall Linke Beef Intermediate- Bailey Palmer; 2nd place Samantha Halley Beef Junior- Meghan Cameron; 2nd place Sheree Rule Goat Senior- Toni Strandberg; 2nd place Sam Knight Goat Intermediate- Kamri Strandberg; 2nd place Sammi Halley Goat Junior- Taylor Strandberg; 2nd place Robyn Halley Sheep Senior- Genni Noonen; 2nd place Samantha Knight Sheep Intermediate- Samantha Halley; 2nd place Justin Halley Sheep Junior- Meghan Cameron; 2nd place Jacey Murphy Swine Senior- Rachel Linke; 2nd place Genevieve Noonen Swine Intermediate- Bailey Palmer; 2nd place Nicholas Titschard Swine Junior- Chance Martin; 2nd place Tanner Neiberger
