Kremmling Police investigating string of vehicle break-ins

Lock your doors and windows, Kremmling.

The Kremmling Police Department is currently investigating a string of vehicle break-ins that took place on Monday, according to Kremmling Police Chief Scott Spade.

Four vehicles were broken into, and cash and other valuables were stolen. Spade said the break-ins are most likely all connected, but they are investigating every possibility. He also said the break-ins all happened in one centralized location, though he declined to release a specific location.

Spade said they suspect other vehicles may have also been broken into, though no police reports were filed. No subsequent break-ins have been reported since Monday.

The Kremmling Police Department is cautioning residents to remove any visible and valuable items from their vehicles, and to be sure to lock them. The department is also asking residents to report and suspicious activity to law enforcement by calling the Grand County dispatch center at 970-725-3387.
