Kremmling’s Fourth of July celebration was a communitywide effort

To the Editor:The 2008 Fire up the Cliffs Fourth of July celebration was a success because of our sponsors, volunteers and the participation by our community and visitors. We would like to thank our generous entertainment sponsors: Grand Mountain Bank, EZ Insurance Solutions and Advance Benefit Concepts, Michael Music and West Grand Land Company, Hot Sulphur Springs Resort, Rocky Mountain Bar & Grill, Cliffside Inn, Steamboat Orthopedic Associates, P.C. Grand County Tourism Board and your Kremmling Area Chamber of Commerce.A huge thank you goes to Heather & Kenny Bentler and the Rocky Mountain Bar & Grill staff for baking 300 brownies for our Brownie Sundae Dessert Feast. The sundae fixings were generously donated by Quarter Circle Saloon and Granby Dairy. Thanks to Randy Sanor who helps us with almost every event we have. He hangs the banners, puts up the pop up tents, hauls chairs and tables and does anything we ask of him; always with a cheerful spirit. Thanks to our ice cream dippers Dennis Gale, Ted Soltis and Jeff Pexton; thanks to our cashiers Pam Music, Glyn Sheppard and Janet Schayer; thanks to our sundae assembly line: Therese McElroy, Nancy Davidson, Mary Pat Gale, Cathleen Malloy, Kim Shepton, Carrie George, Luann and Katy Husmann. Thanks to Craig Cutcliff for the sound engineering and to Mike Music & Friends for the great entertainment. Thanks a million Kremmling Volunteer Fire Department for yet another great barbecue and fireworks show; we appreciate what you Fire Guys and Gals do for our community. Theres nothing better than Fourth of July in Kremmling. In every community, you will see the same few names over and over. They are the ones who sponsor or volunteer every time they are asked. We are extremely grateful to our sponsors and volunteers for their generous spirits, community pride, and their desire to make a positive contribution and make things happen for the community in which we live.
