Kristen Lowers: A welcoming sign, one of the great things about our town

Hot Sulphur Springs welcome signs

If anyone has driven through Hot Sulphur Springs lately, they might have noticed that the welcome sign looks a bit more welcoming.

I wanted to publicly thank David Fraser for his time and effort invested in pulling weeds, and planting wildflowers at the west entrance. What a great example to see a neighbor notice something that needs attention, and to have the initiative to just take care of it himself.

Of course, this isn’t the first time that’s happened around here. Just a few days before Hot Sulphur Days, a few of our locals – Dan Cook, Ward Briggs, and Tom Swanson – took it upon themselves to clean up our main intersection. It’s just one of the many great things about living here in our little town.
