Larimer County authorities issue arrest warrant in woman’s death

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (AP) – The Larimer County sheriff’s office has obtained an arrest warrant for the common-law husband of a 57-year-old woman whose body was found in a wooded area in northern Colorado.

The Coloradoan in Fort Collins reports that 48-year-old John Marks Jr. is wanted on the charge of second-degree murder in the death of Kathy Adams. Sheriff’s officials said Wednesday that they’re looking for Marks.

Adams’ body was found last week in a ravine along U.S. 36 between Lyons and Estes Park. Her brother reported Adams missing Oct. 12 after not hearing from her for several days.

Police who went to her home said there was evidence that made her disappearance suspicious.

Adams worked as a psychic in a shop in Fort Collins.
