Learn how to help save the Fraser River
September 2, 2014
Riverstock is a day of celebration and river education with music, food, and fun. The event began back in 2009, and was started as a way to engage the community to help save the Fraser River.
Four Riverstocks and seven years later there is progress to report along with volunteer opportunities for community members to actively help heal area rivers. Music will be playing both indoors and outdoors throughout the event. All of the bands are volunteering their time as their way of helping Save the Fraser River.
Between band sets, the Colorado River Headwaters Chapter of Trout Unlimited will be providing updates on the political scene and informational talks about how people can become personally involved with the healing of the Fraser River.
