To the Editor:

Only someone with the ability to know everything about anything immediately can predict the future with certainty, which seems to be a talent that Bill Hamilton as well as many conservatives claim to have. Here we have another dire prediction coming from a conservative. “Obamacare will be a train wreck” he says.

I wonder sometimes if this dire prediction is actually an expression of the desire for ideological validation.

Which is ironic, considering how closely Obamacare resembles a plan developed by a conservative think tank and enacted by Mitt Romney. I wonder if the Affordable Care Act, also known as Obamacare, should be known as the Health Insurance Industry Rescue Act

It may have been better to let this Health Insurance Industry bubble burst and pick up the pieces afterwards.

But then many people much more informed than I apparently felt differently.

Now that this is the law, is it not moral to give it a chance to work, no matter if one agrees with it or not?

Instead Republicans seem to be doing everything in their power to see that it fails.
