Letter: Development should support itself
To the Editor:
In regard to the Oct. 2 article in the Sky-Hi News about Grand Park seeking “economic incentives” from the town of Fraser, I can’t help but think that if Clark Lipscomb can’t seem to pay for the needs of his own development, perhaps he should reconsider what he is doing.
I am not opposed to development in the area, but I strongly believe that it should not be up to the taxpayers to subsidize it.
Thank you very much.
Jill Suffin
Fraser
Editor’s note: To clarify a point, it is our understanding that what Mr. Lipscomb has suggested is incentives that would apply to all developments in Fraser, not just his own.
