Letter: Funds from fly-in will support local aviation students
Local EAA Chapter 1267, based in Granby, would like to thank all of the Grand County business owners who supported our annual fly-in/pancake breakfast fundraiser. With the additional support of the people of Grand County and others from out of the local area, we served almost 900 pancake breakfasts, and were able to generate additional funds from our silent auction.
The huge success of our program the past Sunday will allow Chapter 1267 to continue to send local young people to the EAA Aviation Academy in Oshkosh, Wis., and support local college students in aviation programs. Once again, a huge thank you to all who supported and attended the EAA Chapter 1267 fly-in and pancake breakfast!
Bill Cowgill, President, Chapter 1267
