Letter: Hot Sulphur Days impressed

To the Editor:

I just wanted to take a minute and thank everyone who helped with and set up the Hot Sulphur Days events, especially the fireworks show at dark on Saturday, June 13.

I am a native to Grand County and I have been to many fireworks displays in Grand County throughout my life and career. The show that the little town of Hot Sulphur Springs put on was outstanding and I was “very” impressed. My hat is off to the Town of Hot Sulphur Springs and the Hot Sulphur Springs/Parshall Fire Department who shot off the firework display. In my opinion you all did an awesome and professional job.

In addition the band Thin Ice played some really great music before and after the fireworks, which really added to the entertainment and brought this great and enjoyable evening to a close. The only thing that could have made it any better was to have had some warmer weather for the evenings events. Man, this is what living in small town America is all about.
