To the Editor:

What a joy it is to be a part of an incredibly successful event such as the recent Thanksgiving Pie Sale in Hot Sulphur Springs. This success comes from different people and businesses working together but mostly from the generous pie-bakers. More than 100 homemade pies were donated by the awesome bakers of Hot Sulphur Springs, Granby and Kremmling. Thanks go to the individual bakers, to City Market for donating the pie boxes, to Sky-Hi News for helping us publicize the event, and to everyone who bought a pie. This sale was sponsored by The Friends of the Grand County Library along with a local committee of supporters of the Hot Sulphur Springs Library who organized and carried out the sale. Many thanks also go to Julie Horn, HSS Branch Librarian, who put her all into this sale. The money raised goes to support the HSS Library as well as the Grand County Library District. Not only do the libraries benefit, but there were a lot of happy folks enjoying those delicious pies.
