Letter: Kudos on Granby ice fishing tourney
To the editor:
I would like to compliment the community of Granby, and most especially your Granby Chamber of Commerce, for the outstanding fishing contest that I have participated in since the time of pick-up truck and snow-mobile giveaways.
The event has ebbed the flowed but is making an unbelievable comeback, and as a participant in many contests like this in Colorado, Wyoming, and Utah, this Granby event is the best that I and my pals participate in.
The Chamber of Commerce (Gayle) willingly and often answered my phone inquires with the upmost courtesy, expertise, and such a positive attitude. The entire event is so well pre-planned and managed. Undoubtedly the planning process is started early, prior to the contest, and then followed through with every eye for detail and execution. From the parking lot attendant, to the weigh station, to the awards presentation each evening, you guys have IT TOGETHER.
Thanks for the wonderful experience in Granby. Keep up the good work.
