Letter of thanks: Grand Cares
To the Editor:
From the bottom of my heart I would like to thank everyone who came out to the Grand Cares Fundraiser supporting the Swan and Butler Families. The outcome was phenomenal, it truly was moving seeing the community come together like they did, and helped us raise a little more than $2,500. We could not have done it without the generous donations and commitment from our local businesses who stepped up. I would like to thank Peter with Silvercreek Steakhouse for donating the Remmington room, could not have done it without you. A big thanks needs to go to two wonderful women; Nicole Stevens for all your hard work and dedication, the lady behind the scenes, and Kymmie Scott for your wonderful efforts in publicizing the event. Without the local businesses stepping up this would not have been as successful as it was. Thank you to: Sagebrush BBQ & Grill, The Hub, Grand Lake Emporium, Never Summer Mountain Products, The Roadhouse Bar & Grill, Spirit Lake Traders, Après Ski Hair Design, Mine Design Jewelry, Humphrey’s, Candy Lane, and Classic Glass. Elevation Pizza, Christy Sports, Be…Boutique, The General Store, Peezie Marie, Silver Mountain Jewelry, and Fraser Rec Center. Silvercreek Steakhouse, Kopy Kat, The Trash Company, Napa Auto Parts, Pearl Dragon, Becky Allison (Pampered Chef), Nettie Dugwyler (Thirty-One), Janel Jordy (local artist), Dawnell Hall (local artist), Cass Kotrba (handmade soaps), Casey Paugh (handmade crochet items), Brandy & Luke Paugh (handmade bracelets), Up Town Granby, Mavericks, Trail Photography, and Hot Sulphur Springs Resort. What a heartwarming event this came to be. Thank you Grand County for all you generous donations and support for the Swan and Butler Families, it truly is appreciated.
Gratefully Yours Truly,
Tara Antonio
