Letter: Radcliffe, Consider Rich Cimino for Grand County Commissioner

Consider Rich Cimino for Grand County Commissioner

I am going to vote for Rich Cimino for Grand County Commissioner and I urge you to consider voting for him. I know Rich from our work together in the Rotary Club in Winter Park. He is one of our most enthusiastic and energetic volunteers. He has led the way for a project with Headwater Trails Alliance to build a new bridge on the Fraser/Granby Trail. He is our program chair and, most important, he is an amazing caller at our Bingo fundraisers. He has made important contributions to our club and our community from the day he joined. Rich is very organized and disciplined. I think he learned that in the Air Force where he served as an intelligence officer and recently retired as a Lieutenant Colonel. You can always count on Rich to get things done. I really am amazed at the number of things Rich is involved in. He really cares about this community and works hard to make this a better place to live. I also work with his wife Nicole as a volunteer at Fraser elementary and have worked with his kids at several fundraisers. They are a wonderful family and Nicole has her roots here in Grand County. Rich is a good listener and I think that is what makes him a good leader. We need someone with fresh, new ideas here in this county and Rich brings that to the table. His broad and strategic look at issues is exactly what we need. He is very open to suggestions but then has the ability to cut to the chase and make good decisions. That is why I am going to vote for Rich and hope you do too.
