To the Editor:
I would like to thank all of the people throughout the county who have supported me through the election process over the past months.
It has been a learning experience for me regarding the myriad of issues facing Grand County and the opportunity to meet great people has been enlightening. My admiration goes out to Nancy Stuart for the work she has done over the past eight years right to the end of her term. I ran to give the citizens of Grand County a choice, and they have made that choice.
I congratulate Merrit Linke (that is no bull). Our race shows that politics does not have to be full of mud-slinging. The challenges ahead for the county are significant; I know he is up for them and will work for all the citizens of the county to address the issues we face together.
