Letter to the Edtor: Save Byers Peak Ranch for posterity

Save Byers Peak Ranch for posterity

If the Town of Fraser really wanted to make an impact, why not ask the developer to put Byers Peak Ranch into a land trust so that it will always be a working ranch?

Open space, especially of this beauty, should be preserved for generations to come.

The historic value alone would make it a centerpiece for posterity.

Axel Neilsen an original owner, GAVE the town the St. Louis Creek water rights that we all are able to benefit from.

We all want to tout Ike’s vacation land. Byers Peak Ranch is it – this is where he slept, relaxed, barbecued and fished.

The town, not just the mayor, council and administration need to put a lot of thought and soul-searching into this annexation before it is too late.

Fraser is not just limited to its boundaries; it is a community to all of us.
