Letter: Who are we?

To the Editor:

I’m sure some of you have read about or seen the videos of the Planned Parenthood managers talking about selling baby parts. Their callous attitude is truly sickening. The description of what they are doing is truly disgusting. Can this be legal?

My son was born eight weeks early. That’s 28 weeks and he is a healthy thriving young boy. Babies in the womb at the same stage are being killed, dismembered and their parts sold for profit. Never again can a Democrat talk about the evils of profit. No American businessman has ever lowered themselves to these levels for money. This activity can only come sanctioned by a government that does not recognize God.

The people doing this are no better than Joseph Mengele, the notorious German scientist who dreamed up the Nazi death camps. The Democrat Party is no better. I’ve heard many pundits twist themselves into a pretzel trying to rationalize this gruesome activity. But worse is the population of the United States. The German people’s excuse was that they didn’t know what was going on. We know and there is more outrage over the shooting of a lion than the death, dismemberment, and the sale of body parts of babies who are old enough to live outside the womb.

Are we going to allow this to continue? If ever has been a time when the American population has to stand up, draw a line in the sand, and say “enough”, this is it. If not now, when?

I’ll be honest … I have no idea what to do. I have a hard time looking at myself in the mirror these days. Remember any group of people who are capable of this unadulterated evil are capable of anything.

Do we stand against this evil or do we wait for them to come take us, one by one under the darkness of night?
