Liquor license lapse closes Fraser liquor store

Sky-Hi News Staff

Rocky Mountain Moonshine Liquors in Fraser has closed temporarily due to a lapse in its licensing.

The business was forced to close on Monday, March 9, after the owner failed to renew the business’ annual liquor license on time, said Fraser Town Clerk Lu Berger.

The town received a new application on March 2 and all fees have been paid, Berger said.

The town is required by law to hold the application for 30 days.

The town will hold a public hearing on April 1, and the board of trustees will vote on the new license, Berger said.
