Local government meetings this week in Grand County
There are several local government meetings this week, Oct. 24 through 28, 2016, in Grand County.
Town of Winter Park will hold their Winter Park Transit Advisory Committee meeting at 4 p.m., Monday, Oct. 24 at the town hall. Meeting items include finalizing budget and follow up with Green Line changes.
The Grand Lake Board of Trustees will hold a Workshop/Special Meeting beginning at 5 p.m. on Monday Oct. 24, 2016. The evening’s workshop will begin with two Executive Sessions. The first Executive Session relates to the Board receiving legal advice and the second Executive Session is for the Board to discuss personnel matters.
Grand Lake Town Manager Jim White will provide a follow-up on the Fire Lane discussion.
In other discussion items the Board will consider authorizing the Mayor to sign a letter of support for efforts to secure an Outstanding National Resource Water designation for Grand Lake. The Board will consider adoption of an ordinance amending Grand Lake’s Town Code to allow regulations to be adopted by resolution or ordinance. The Board will consider adoption of an ordinance amending the Grand Lake Town Code adopting a backflow prevention and cross-connection control program for the Town. The Board will consider a buy-down of accrued comp time from 2016.
The Board will consider adoption of an ordinance establishing a Fee and Deposit Schedule for the Town of Grand Lake. The Board will consider adoption of a resolution supporting the grant application for a Local Parks and Outdoor Recreation Grant from the State Board of the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund and the completion of the Grand Lake Public Boat Launch and Repair and Improvement Project.
The Board will consider adoption of an ordinance amending the Grand Lake Model Traffic Code relating to the operation of off-highway vehicles in the Town. The Board will consider adoption of the 2017 budget. The Board will also consider resolutions for appropriate sums of money and the setting of mill levies.
The Grand Lake Board of Trustees will hold a Regular Meeting beginning at 7:30 p.m. Monday night Oct. 24 in the Grand Lake Town Hall. The Board will hear a presentation from Diamondback Engineering for the Streetscape Project. The Board will review sales tax cash flow reports and financial reports for Sept. 2016.
The Board will consider a tavern renewal application from Grumpy’s Saloon. The Board will also formally take up, for possible action, all the items listed for discussion during the Board’s Workshop held earlier during the day.
The Grand County Board of Count Commissioners will have a meeting at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday, October 25 at the Grand County Administration Building in Hot Sulphur. Agenda.
The Granby Board of Trustees will hold a Regular Meeting beginning at 6 p.m. on Tuesday Oct. 25 in the Granby Town Hall.
