Local musician to play Red Rocks

John Denver Tribute Concert Thursday With Special Guest Michael Martin Murphey

Mark Johnson, a recent 15 year resident of Grand County, feels fortunate to have the opportunity to perform at Red Rocks Amphitheater as the piano player with the John Adams Band, the internationally known John Denver Tribute. Mark has lived in the Steamboat area for the past year, and is the Brother of Lori Crane and father of Granby’s Benjamin, Grace, and Hope Johnson.

Johnson will also perform with Michael Martin Murphey on Thursday, July 12 at 7:30 p.m., and will be a special guest at the show, along with the Colorado Chamber Orchestra. The concert is sponsored by Rocky Mountain PBS and will benefit the Susan G.
