Local Realtor appointed president of Colorado Residential Real Estate Council

Monica D. Anderson, CRS, has been selected as the 2019 President of the Colorado Residential Real Estate Council, a not-for-profit affiliate of the National Association of Realtors. As state president, Anderson manages the state’s activities and acts as a liaison between her regional vice president, the Council’s leadership team and staff.

Anderson has been involved in real estate since 2003. Currently, she is a Broker Associate with RE/MAX Peak to Peak and serves all of Grand County.

The Colorado RRC is one of 40 state groups that provide educational opportunities for Realtors, promote the Council and the Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) Designation, assist the Council in achieving its purposes and objectives, plan community service projects and provide a forum for the exchange of information.

Anderson says she’s “excited to serve the State of Colorado CRS Designees and Members again in 2019. Only 3 percent of Realtors acquire the Certified Residential Specialist designation during their careers. Realtors with the CRS designation have a high level of professionalism and expertise in their market.”
