Ron was born on November 21, 1956, to Ginger and Ed Kissler. He was raised in Inola, Okla., where he participated in 4-H and FFA activities. Ron was an extraordinary athlete, leading his high school to many victories. After high school, Ron attended Oklahoma State University.

In 1984 Ron moved to the Fraser Valley where he would later marry Darcee Hammer and be blessed with two boys, Coltan and Caleb. Ron was a respected concrete contractor pouring many foundations in the Valley. Later, he became a valued team member of the Henderson Mine.

Ron is remembered for his compassionate heart; he would do anything for anyone, anytime. Ron’s first priority was his boys. He loved sharing the Grand County lifestyle with them: fishing, hunting, boating.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father. He leaves behind his brother, Bret, of Inola, Okla.; and sons Coltan, 16 and Caleb 11, both of Winter Park.

Ron was loved by many and will be missed by all. Please join his family in a remembrance of his life on Saturday, June 26, at 3 p.m., Church of the Eternal Hills, Tabernash, Colo.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be sent to Millenium Bank: The Kissler Boys Memorial Fund.
