Longtime Kremmling librarian Elizabeth "Betty" Nunn dies

Elizabeth “Betty” Nunn, 89, passed away at her residence in Kremmling early Saturday morning, Feb. 19, 2011. Betty was instrumental in the development of the Library in Kremmling where she served as the librarian for over 30 years. Betty had a bachelor’s degree in library science and graduated from Denver University in the class of 1943.

Her husband, Keith Ray Nunn, preceded her in death. Betty is survived by two daughters, Katherine Jennie Nunn of Kremmling and Nancy Margaret Off of Morrison; son, Charles Lee Nunn of Kremmling; four grandchildren, Daniel Eric Off, Marlon Lloyd Off, Ian Ray Off and Kristin Tyana Off; and brother, Bert Lohr of Fort Oglethorpe, Ga.

Graveside service for Betty will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 25, at the Kremmling Cemetery. Joe Shields will officiate, and honorary pallbearers will include Jim Yust, Jay Yust and Lee Nunn. Donations may be made in her memory to Heart of the Mountains Hospice, PO Box 140, Hot Sulphur Springs, CO 80451.
