Lucy Cooper, 94, passed away Feb. 6, 2012 at the Amie Holt Care Center in Buffalo, Wyo. She was born on April 15, 1917 in Lyman, Wyo. to John and Jennie (Creagor) Dickson. She attended school in Lyman, Wyo. and was married on April 17, 1934 in Morgan, Utah to Virgil Eller. They lived in Colorado where they worked and raised eight children until Mr. Eller retired. After retirement they moved to Mt. Angel, Ore. where they were divorced. Lucy later married Odie Cooper and after his retirement they traveled for a few years before settling in Overton, Nev. Mr. Cooper passed away, and in 2002 Lucy moved to Buffalo to be near her daughter due to health problems. She enjoyed cards, hooking rugs, embroidering and crocheting.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, five sons; Sid, Jack, Carl, Wade and Hugh Eller; one daughter Karen Keaton; four brothers and three sisters.

She is survived by one son, Jerry D. Eller of Kremmling, Colo.; one daughter Kathryn L. DeWald of Buffalo, Wyo.; two step-children and numerous great-children, and grandchildren.

Memorial services and a celebration of her life of will be held Saturday, Feb. 25 at 2 p.m. at the Parshall Chapel in Parshall, Colo. with Reverend Allen Pullian officiating. Interment will be in the Calvary Cemetery in Mt. Angel, Oregon.
