Man dies in Loveland Pass motorcycle accident

A Greeley man was killed Sunday on Loveland Pass when he lost control of his motorcycle around 5:30 p.m. According to the Summit County coroner, Greg Harp was traveling eastbound when, for an unknown reason, he swerved onto the right shoulder, across the double yellow line and over an embankment. The accident occurred at mile marker 224.5.

Harp, 56, was wearing a helmet at the time, the coroner reported. An autopsy has been ordered.
