SILVERTHORNE – A local man was found dead early Sunday morning in the parking area of a Silverthorne condo complex. Estimated to be in his fifties, the man resided in the one of the units located at 781 Rainbow Drive.

“It appears the decedent was jaundiced from liver issues,” said Summit County Coroner Joanne Richardson in an e-mail.

Richardson also noted that the man had “a lot of medical issues” so an autopsy will not be conducted.

“I don’t have an exact age yet as my deputy is running fingerprints to confirm the ID even though we are reasonably sure it’s who we think it is,” she added.

The Summit County Coroner’s office is currently working to notify his next of kin.
