Man pleads guilty in accident that injured 2
DENVER (AP) – A 21-year-old man has pleaded guilty to running into two pedestrians in lower downtown Denver and taking off.
The district attorney’s office says Brandon Mondragon pleaded guilty Monday to hitting the two in October. A 26-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were in the crosswalk when they were struck by the car and were seriously injured.
The DA says Mondragon faces six months in jail with work release, four years of probation and 300 hours of community service when he’s sentenced April 25.
