BOULDER, Colo. (AP) – A Longmont man who was shot and wounded by police last month is out of the hospital and due in court.

Twenty-two-year-old Brandon Duke was due in Boulder County District Court Monday on suspicion of attempted murder and other charges.

Duke was shot in the side by Longmont Police officer David Blake on May 8 when Blake tried to arrest Duke on an outstanding warrant. Duke fired at the officer, but the officer wasn’t hit.

Blake remains on administrative leave pending a review of the shooting.
